Avoid washing
Wear the garment as long as possible (6–12 months) to allow it to develop natural creases and character in the color. Air it out or use a damp cloth to remove stains.
Before washing
Turn the garment inside out to protect the color and the drum.
Close zippers and buttons.
Hand wash (recommended for the first wash)
Fill a basin with cold water.
Add a small amount of mild detergent or a spoonful of salt (to help set the color).
Let the garment soak for 30–45 minutes and gently agitate.
Rinse thoroughly in cold water until the water runs clear.
Machine wash (later washes)
Use a gentle cycle (wool/delicates).
Use cold water (max. 30°C).
Use a mild detergent; avoid fabric softener.
Select low spin (400–600 rpm).
Drying
Gently press out excess water (do not wring).
Hang to dry in the shade, away from direct sunlight to prevent fading and shrinkage.
